Description

The BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) course is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills in process modeling using BPMN2, Visual Paradigm software, and related standards such as DMN (Decision Model and Notation) and CMMN (Case Management Model and Notation). The course is structured into three sections: an introduction to BPMN2 concepts, practical training with Visual Paradigm software, and an exploration of additional standards such as DMN and CMMN. Through this course, participants will learn how to effectively model business processes, avoid common pitfalls, and use software tools to simulate and analyze processes. Real-world examples and hands-on exercises will ensure that attendees gain a deep understanding of these methodologies and can apply them in their professional environments.

 Section 1: Introduction

In the first section, participants will be introduced to the foundational concepts of BPMN2, including its symbols, usage, and how it compares to other process modeling methods like IDEF0, IDEF3, and EPC. This section covers the different types of tasks, gateways, events, and subprocesses, as well as how to effectively model processes to avoid common mistakes and unnecessary repetition in interviews. By the end of this section, attendees will understand the various levels of modeling, be able to document processes accurately, and have the skills needed to model processes at the implementation level.
